Some firms do little more than hose down the surface with a low powered domestic pressure cleaner, which leaves most of the dirt and contamination as a BARRIER which prevents the sealer from bonding effectively. We use PROFESSIONAL Machinery costing many thousands of dollars combined with a 3500psi Dual Nozzle SCRUBBER Attachment to DEEP CLEAN your concrete and effectively prepare the surface for correct bonding and penetration of the colour and sealer.

Some firms use very cheap sealers which are over 70% Thinners and even possibly ROOF PAINT to save money and do things on the cheap. We only use QUALITY CO-POLYMER XYLENE BASED SEALERS and matching colour tints to do the job right. We will even show you the drums with seals in place before starting work to prove that we are using the genuine product.

To do the job right the surface needs to be left to DRY for 1 to 2 DAYS before the first coat of sealer can be applied, as moisture trapped in the concrete can cause whitening and deterioration  over time.  The Sealer or Colour-Seal needs to be prepared correctly in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applied in 2 separate COATS leaving sufficient drying time in between. Application should also be done using ROLLERS  not SPRAYERS as the rolling process forces the sealer into the concrete ensuring sufficient PENETRATION and correct “KEYING IN” of the product. Some firms choose to spray the product on to save time and get things done quickly however this requires significant THINNING DOWN on the initial coat which can cause premature PEELING and BREAKDOWN of the coating. MAKING SURE the job will be done CORRECTLY could easily DOUBLE or TRIPLE the life of the coating!
